Save the Date

Save the Date for the ACOG District XII 2019 Annual District Meeting (ADM) that will be held August 2-4 at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, FL. The 2019 ADM offers educational courses for each member of the obstetric and gynecologic practice.

Programs for Physicians, Nurses and Residents
  • Scientific Sessions will provide physicians and nurses with updates on important and relevant lectures in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Coding and Reimbursement Update will provide physicians and coding experts the most current information that will help your practice bill for the highest allowable reimbursement and avoid penalties and denials.
  • Ob/Gyn Practice Administrators Course is a professional development course for practice administrators that will refresh their skills and provide new ideas to make the Ob/Gyn practice more efficient.
  • Women's Genomics Counseling is a pre-conference course that was designed to educate Ob/Gyn and allied health care professionals about genetics and genomics as they relate to preconception/prenatal care and evaluation of women at increased risk for hereditary cancer syndromes.
Programs for Residents and Medical Students
  • Certifying Exam Study Group will help prepare participants for their oral board review exam. This will be an interactive program for attendees, and they will participate in mock orals, practice case of the day/structured cases, learn how to read ACOG Practice Bulletins and much more.
  • Junior Fellow Half-Day will cover important topics such as financial management, advocacy and career opportunities after residency. This program has been planned for residents, but medical students are welcome to attend.
  • Medical Student Session will outline the training process, fellowships, and career tracks available after medical school. Medical students will have the opportunity to candidly ask questions to a panel of representatives from each of Florida’s residency programs. The session will conclude with a variety of hands-on skill stations that will allow med students to actively participate and simulate many of the daily activities of an Ob/Gyn.
